WeddingOS is built by people who run a wedding business, so we know how much trust goes into handing over your client data to a piece of software. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. No boilerplate, no legalese.
WeddingOS LLC is a Georgia-based company. We built WeddingOS specifically for wedding planning agencies — not as a generic CRM that got rebranded. Questions about this policy can go to alex@getweddingos.com.
Your account info
Your name, email address, and business name when you sign up. Same for any team members you invite.
Your clients' data
WeddingOS is a CRM, so the whole point is storing information about your clients — names, contact details, wedding dates, venues, contracts, payments, vendors, and so on. That data is yours. We hold it on your behalf. We don't touch it for any other purpose.
Payment info
We never see your credit card number. Stripe handles billing entirely. We get back a customer ID and subscription status — that's it.
Google data
If you connect your Google account, we access Gmail, Calendar, and Drive. The full breakdown is in the Google section below.
Basic usage logs
Standard stuff — IP addresses, browser type, which pages you visit, timestamps. We use this to fix bugs and keep the platform running. We don't sell it or share it for advertising.
Cookies
Just what's needed to keep you logged in. More detail in the Cookies section below.
We use your data to run WeddingOS. Specifically:
That's the list. We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it to data brokers, and we don't feed it into AI models.
When you connect your Google account, here's exactly what we access and why:
Gmail
We can send emails on your behalf and read your inbox. This is what lets WeddingOS send proposals and payment reminders from your actual email address, and pull in incoming client emails so they show up in your WeddingOS inbox alongside everything else.
Google Calendar
We can read your calendar and create events. This lets us show your Google Calendar events inside WeddingOS, and create consultation or wedding day events without you switching apps.
Google Drive
We can create and manage files in your Drive. We use this to create client folders automatically when someone books, upload signed proposal PDFs, and export documents you write in WeddingOS to Google Docs.
You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings → Integrations. That removes our stored tokens immediately. Files already in your Drive and events already on your Calendar stay there — we just lose the ability to add new ones.
We use Stripe for two things: billing your WeddingOS subscription, and processing payments your clients make through the WeddingOS payment portal.
For your subscription, Stripe stores your card. We never see the raw number — just a customer ID and whether you're paid up.
For client payments, your clients go through a Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe processes the payment and sends it to your connected Stripe account. We just get a confirmation so we can mark the payment as received in WeddingOS.
How Stripe handles payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
Everything in WeddingOS is stored in Supabase, which runs on AWS in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and only used to make API calls on your behalf.
Every lead, client, contract, payment, vendor, email, and timeline you put into WeddingOS belongs to you. We're the platform — you're the owner. We don't analyze your client data for our own purposes, share it for profit, or use it in any way that isn't directly about running your account.
Nobody we don't have to. We share data only with Stripe, Nylas, Supabase, and Google — the services that actually power the features you use. Each of them handles data under their own privacy policies.
We'd only disclose data outside of that if a court required it or there was a genuine safety issue. If that ever happened and we were legally allowed to tell you, we would.
Email alex@getweddingos.com for any of the above. We'll respond within 30 days.
As long as your account is active, your data stays in WeddingOS.
When you cancel, you get a 90-day window to log in, export anything you need, or reactivate. After 90 days we permanently delete everything — client records, documents, emails, all of it. That deletion can't be undone, so don't wait if you need your data.
If you want us to delete your account before the 90 days are up, email us and we'll do it within 7 business days.
One note: anything already in your Google Drive, Gmail, or Calendar lives in Google's systems and isn't affected by your WeddingOS cancellation.
We only use cookies to keep you logged in — authentication cookies from Supabase and session cookies from Next.js. No ad tracking, no third-party pixels, no analytics that phone home to an ad network.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. Payments go through Stripe, which handles PCI compliance on their end. We use role-based permissions inside WeddingOS so team members only see what they're supposed to.
No software is perfectly secure. If something looks wrong with your account, email us right away at alex@getweddingos.com.
WeddingOS is a business tool for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think that's happened, let us know and we'll delete it.
If we change something meaningful, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Minor updates get a new "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use WeddingOS after changes go live means you're okay with them.
